The filePro School from STN is being held August 19 to 24, 2002, in Dallas, Texas. They are offering three courses that should be of interest to all filePro users, from database administrators to companies developing their applications for internet access for their customers. COURSE 3 - filePro and the Internet, is 4 days and is taught by the renowned Howie Wolowitz (The father of filePro) and Bill Doyle. Bill teaches filePro and HTML, fPcgi and jPedits. Howie's two days includes has highly regarded "fPweb" program, a copy of which is included with the course. COURSE 2 - Advanced filePro, is taught by Howie, and includes his rich library of filePro tricks and techniques. COURSE 1 - Fundamentals of filePro, is 4 days and taught by Stuart Werner. It starts at the beginning and goes through to programming. The school is all hands-on, with each student working on a Windows laptop networked to the instructor's unix server. This is the first time in many years that Howie has taken the time to teach and I hope you will take advantage of this valuable opportunity for our filePro community.
