the Important EXISTING GI Customers Alert
In order for GIserver to launch correctly, you must get
the correct copy of your GIserver giserver.lic file from
this web site. Your GIserver software is keyed to the Network
Adapter MAC Address, Port # and number of concurrent connections
you purchased. Standalone Windows PC such as laptops may
also require the C: Hard Drive serial number for proper licensing.
When you are ready to get the file be sure to have handy
the serial number of the software you are running with
GIserver, as well as the e-mail address and number of concurrent
connections you specified when you ordered your copy of GIserver.
Simply fill in the correct information including the MAC
address and the port # you are going to use.

your Network Adapter MAC address and C: Hard Drive Serial
Number
Minimum
Configuration Requirements for fileProGI and GIserver
Be careful at this point: Once
you enter the MAC address and port number the resulting giserver.lic
file will be locked to that MAC address, Port and Maximum
Concurrent Connection count. You will not be able to re-generate
a new giserver.lic file with different settings without contacting
fP Technologies sales. You will be able to re-generate
another copy with the current settings in our license database
at any time as long as what you enter matches our database.
Download the giserver.lic file into your fp/GIserver/lib
directory as giserver.lic [with no prefix] The web
site puts a temporary text string on the front. The Save
to File dialog box will be launched by your browser.
The fileProGI runtime software no longer requires you to
submit Computer names. For the fileProGI Developers Tool
Kit registration file(s) you will need to enter ALL machine
names as well as the C: Hard Drive serial Number where the
Developers Tool Kit is going to be installed [Maximum ot
2 PC's). If you have any questions regarding fileProGI installation
Please click here to download the GIReadme.zip file
with instructions. The Registration Files will be sent to
you via the e-mail address you provide in the Registration
Form.
