fP Technologies, Inc. is announcing the release of our fileProODBC Version 1.0 for Windows. fileProODBC provides both a high level and low level client side interface to ODBC data sources such as Microsoft Access, SQL server, Oracle and other popular ODBC databases. The high level interface allows you to read, write, update, and add ODBC database records (like you do now with Inquire, Update, and Add). You can output reports containing ODBC data using Request Output.
For the applications requiring more flexibility, the low level interface allows you to pass comprehensive SQL statements to the ODBC database to select records as well as create new tables in the ODBC data source and exchange filePro data with the ODBC data source records.
fileProODBC is available for the NT-series of Windows (NT/2000/XP/2003) only and can be purchased for either server or standalone PC license configurations.
Register for the fileProODBC/fPSQL class in Orlando, Florida on October 17th and get a head start on your development efforts. We plan on repeating both that class and the Using filePro with XML class periodically after the filePro conference.
