filePro for FreeBSD now Available for Purchase and Download

The initial release will include FreeBSD version of:

filePro Plus 5.0
fPcgi
fPSQL
fPTransfer
fPRuntime

The filePro GIServer version is still in development and is
not available at this time.

Like filePro itself, the FreeBSD platform has long had a
small but very loyal group of users. With the turmoil
going on in the Linux world there has been a great increase
in FreeBSD interest in recent months. We are pleased to be
able to offer this potential to our clients and to yours.

The new license pricing will be the same as the SCO UNIX
and Linux versions of filePro with normal VAR and
promotional discounts applying.

Upgrade pricing will include the normal 30% cross-platform
license fee. If a customer has purchased or upgraded to 5.0
within the last 12 months, the cross-platform charge will
be reduced to a 15% cross-platform license fee.

The FreeBSD versions will be available for download early
next week for new or upgrade orders.
